Accountant Payroll Required in Dubai Requirements: Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Accountant Payroll Officer or in a similar role. Strong understanding of payroll processing procedures and relevant regulations. Proficient in using Tally software for payroll processing. Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Familiarity with tax laws, social security contributions, and other payroll-related regulations. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and calculations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information. Good communication skills to effectively interact with employees and management. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Professional certifications such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar are a plus. Responsibilities: Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies, employment contracts, and legal requirements. Calculate wages, salaries, deductions, and other adjustments based on attendance records, time sheets, and relevant payroll data. Verify and reconcile payroll reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, social security contributions, and other statutory requirements related to payroll processing. Maintain employee records, including personal information, payroll data, and tax-related documentation. Prepare and distribute pay slips or statements to employees. Handle inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and other payroll-related matters from employees and management. Collaborate with HR personnel to ensure accurate employee data is captured for payroll processing. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements related to payroll, as required. Perform periodic audits of payroll data to identify and rectify any discrepancies. Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
