Accountant Required in Dubai
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE

Our new office in the heart of Downtown Dubai offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join our growing team and play a vital role in the financial management of our real estate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reporting, in line with UAE regulations.
Property Transactions: Oversee the accounting and financial aspects of real estate transactions, such as property sales, leases, and rentals, ensuring accurate recording and timely processing.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare budgets and financial forecasts for the Dubai office, monitoring performance against targets and providing detailed reports to senior management.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage the accounts payable and receivable process, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and collection from clients.
Tax Compliance: Ensure full compliance with VAT regulations in the UAE, handling VAT returns, and ensuring accurate tax records are maintained.
Financial Analysis: Provide detailed financial analysis and insights on property performance, investment opportunities, and market trends to support business decision-making.
Auditing & Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining accurate financial records.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and maintain liquidity, ensuring sufficient funds for property investments and operational needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, leasing, and legal teams to ensure seamless financial operations related to property transactions.
Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for senior management review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with experience in the real estate sector is a requirement.
Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws, particularly VAT.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, especially Excel.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Dubai’s real estate regulations and processes is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
