Accountant Required in Dubai The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen. Support in general accounting including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedulesand ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis. Supporting the senior accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. Responsibilities Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs Prepare tax documents Compile and analyze financial statements Manage budgeting and forecasting Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts General ledger operations Prepare journal entries Assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable Assist with VAT computations and returns Account/bank reconciliations Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Minimum 5 years experience is required Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is a required.
