AR Accountant Required in DUbai Overview & Responsibilities An excellent opportunity has become available to join Elliott Group as an Accountant in our Abu Dhabi office. The purpose of this role is to manage all invoices within the Finance department. The successful candidate will be meticulous, enthusiastic and demonstrates a “can do” attitude. Responsibilities: Administers the Accounts Payable & Receivable section ensuring all vendor invoices are approved, costed and disbursed on a timely basis according to internal control policies in place. Responsible for entry of source data into general ledger. Reconcile intercompany balances. Monitoring cash in from customer and chasing up customers as needed. Ensure that revenue and associated costs are reported in the accounting records in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the Company recognition policies and applicable GAAP Work together in the Elliott Group to improve through Process Innovation Projects, such as cycle times reducing. Co-ordinate and undertake the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for review by the Financial Manager Compile and analyze financial data to prepare and post journal entries to the Accounting ERP system. Support the monthly and yearly close process as well as internal & external audit Issuing customer and internal invoices and processing customer and general invoices according to accounting rules. Ensuring that time and expenses of warranty jobs are invoiced internally. Uploading of timesheets in the ERP system on a weekly basis Reviewing sales and booking lists on a monthly basis. Preparing external & internal invoices. Preparing different statistics and information files (including sales list) for invoices and AR. Posting of AR invoice journals in ERP. Qualifications: Good communication skills, both written and oral Good organisational skills and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously Capable of working to strict reporting deadlines. Able to work reliably, exactly and independently. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Sufficient knowledge of ERP accounting processes.
