Key Job Responsibilities
Key Performance Area 1: Business Performance
Preparing all local purchase orders based on estimates and quotations received from local vendors.
Preparing bank reconciliation and Post-dated cheque maturity.
Preparing vendor payments – local and foreign.
Assisting in preparing staff salary and leave salary cheques.
Checking of cash deposits from respective stores on daily basis.
Preparing salesmen incentives cheques and maintaining records in excel.
To prepare and ensure timely payments for telephone bills, petrol, water, and electricity.
To prepare and ensure timely payments for air travel bills of staff and others.
To monitor and control all showrooms and workshop cash control accounts.
To reconcile and maintain records of sister concern accounts.
To coordinate the opening of bank accounts for new employees.
Reconciling credit card payments received from respective locations.
Reconciling staff customer accounts on regular basis.
To assist in preparing financial accounts.
Custodian of unused cheques and signed cheques before delivery to suppliers.
Custodian of impress fund and preparing petty cash vouchers.
Sending signed cheques and documents to Albatha & to receive the same.
Maintaining outgoing payment register.
Maintaining payment records and files.
Surprise store visits as and when required.
Providing accounting support during store inventories.
Performing banking activities such as the collection of documents, and depositing cash as and when required.

Ensuring all vendors, customers and staff payments are made on time.
Key performance area 3: People Development
Developing effective relationships at all levels within the company so as to be able to provide appropriate business support where necessary.
Train yourself to efficiently handle the accounting activities in absence of the senior accountant.
Key performance area 4: Quality Excellence
Adherence to company policies, code of conduct, and disciplinary procedures.
Be the ambassador for best business practices, ethics, and code of conduct and ensure that business is conducted with uncompromising honesty and integrity while dealing with internal and external customers.
Qualification, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or equivalent
1-2 years of experience
Must be engaging and enthusiastic, a self-starter
Able to work under pressure
Sense of Urgency
Changing legislation
Compliance with local legislation
Working autonomously or having limited access to an immediate manager.
excellent communication skills
oral and written English
Speaking Arabic and Urdu is an addition
SAP Knowledge
