Chartered Accountant Required in Dubai Experience working in a Big4 is a plus (IN UAE ONLY) AG Mena leading multi-services firm headquartered in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), providing legal services, corporate services, and citizenship & residency solutions under a one-stop platform. We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to perform monthly bookkeeping and accounting, and quarterly VAT filing for our clients, as well as tax advisory. To be considered for a position you must have: Job Description: - Accurately preparing and filing corporate tax returns in a timely manner. - Monitoring developments in tax legislation and informing management and business departments of developments in tax legislation. - Manage deferred tax provision and tax compliance process. - Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.Accounting & Book Keeping - Hands-on experience with accounting software Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Responsibilities: - Manage all accounting transactions -Processing online payments and bank statements Vat Registration & Filing - Maintaining proper accounting records, and preparing monthly P&L. - Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings - Reconcile accounts payable and receivable - Ensure timely bank payments - Report on the company's financial health and liquidity - Audit financial transactions and documents Corporate Tax - Develop and implement corporate tax strategies in compliance with the corporate tax laws. - To act as a process owner during the implementation of the corporate tax project with in the company. - Handling corporate tax requirements, updates and other corporate tax related matters, holding communication with regulators to negotiate disputes/ rulings and interpretation of tax provisions, as well as being involved in tax accounting. - Manage and coordinate tax audits and assessments performed by the FTA. - Maintain tax balances on the general ledger and keep them reconciled with the financials. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting in the UAE Experience in accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero or Zoho Knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations Proficiency in Excel (knowledge of Pivot functions is a must!) Excellent communication skills in English ACCA/ ACA / CPA or similar qualification or working towards it Experience working in a consultancy firm Experience working in a Big4 is a plus!
