Job Description
A Financial Controller is responsible for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control. A Financial Controller may also be responsible for financial reporting to management and the board of directors, as well as compliance with government regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget variances
Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate
Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
Forecasting future financial performance
Preparing and analyzing budgets
Providing accurate financial reports to management
Collaborate with the CEO to develop budgets for the business on a quarterly basis.
Monitor actual performance versus budget and report variances to management.
Work within the general framework of a company's overall accounting and reporting system and make sure that all relevant information is available for management use in running the business.
Ensuring compliance with government regulations
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Finance in UAE.
Sound knowledge and Experience in Finance, Audit and Taxation.
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
