Financial Controller Required in Dubai - Overview:- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our company. As a Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing all financial activities and ensuring the integrity of our financial systems. You will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and developing strategies to drive financial growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, financial management, and possesses excellent leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities: Financial Management:- Oversee the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Manage cash flow, monitor financial performance, and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes. Coordinate and manage the annual financial audit process, ensuring timely completion and compliance with audit requirements. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and monitor the company's financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies. Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections for internal and external stakeholders. Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives, including new business opportunities, investments, and acquisitions. Collaborate with department heads to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to drive business performance. Periodic creation of company valuation reports for investment purposes Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and tax laws. Monitor and assess financial risks, and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in financial regulations and reporting standards. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performing finance team culture. Set clear objectives, evaluate performance, and provide regular feedback to team members. Business Analysis and Performance Management Monitor business trends, sales performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each outlet/Division. Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, inventory turnover, and pricing to identify areas of improvement and optimize profitability. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the management team regarding pricing strategies, product mix, and promotional activities. Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement effective cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost savings. Evaluate the financial viability of new outlet locations, expansions, and closures through comprehensive financial modeling and analysis. Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activities to anticipate potential risks and opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree and/or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are preferred. Proven experience as a Financial Controller or a similar role in a complex financial environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and financial analysis techniques. Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
