Job description
Preferably russian speaking
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
· Preparation of management accounts and financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable UAE legislation for the UAE based companies of the group (mainland and various free zones);
· Processing and control over processing the accounting transactions in accounting system;
· Financial and tax reporting for UAE allocated companies. Ensuring, that the allocated companies are in compliance with all the applicable local regulations;
. Understanding or willingness to study and understand the local tax legislation and other applicable regulations, monitoring of changes in local tax legislation and other applicable regulations;
· Liaison with auditors iro the audit for allocated companies;
· Liaison with banks (KYC and AML, deposits, investments).
Key Skills/Experience:
· Educated in Accounting/Finance or related field, qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA is an advantage)
· 3+ years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience. Experience in Shipping business is an advantage
· Excellent communication skills in English (Written & Spoken)
· Excellent computer Skills (Word/Excel/Outlook, accounting systems in particular)
· Accuracy and attention to detail
