Internal Auditor Required in Dubai The internal auditor will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of an organization's risk management, control, and governance processes. The following are typical job duties and responsibilities of an internal auditor: Conduct internal audits: Perform process audits of financial, operational processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Identify risks: Identify and assess potential risks to the organization, including financial, operational, and compliance risks. Develop audit plans: Develop audit plans based on the risks identified and communicate these plans to the management team. Analyze data: Analyze data and financial statements to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Make recommendations: Provide recommendations to management for improving internal controls, reducing risk, and enhancing operational efficiency. Follow-up: Follow up on recommendations to ensure they are implemented effectively. Report findings: Prepare written reports detailing audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations for management. Ensure compliance: Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards. Collaborate with other departments: Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and legal, to ensure all risks are identified and addressed. Stay up-to-date: Stay up-to-date with new regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to real estate and Internal Audit. Overall, the role of an internal auditor is critical in ensuring that an organization is operating efficiently and effectively, while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations Job Qualification & Requirements: Qualified/ Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA, ACA etc.), ACCA, MBA (FINANCE), CIA, CFA or equivalent. A Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experiences in real estate and in the internal audit function. The candidate should have thorough knowledge concept of internal controls and generally accepted internal auditing standards. MUST have demonstrable experience of Risk Assessment.
