Junior Accountant Required in Dubai We are looking to hire a Junior Accountant cum Procurement with an analytical mind and fantastic organizational skills. The desired candidate is expected to be detail oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, accurate with a solid understanding of account and financial reporting principles and practices, can work comfortably under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain accounts payable/receivable, document bills and supporting documentation Preparation of payments to supplier and perform supplier reconciliation Accounting of receipts in the system and perform reconciliation Preparation of purchase order in connection to the budget sheet received from the Operations team after verification of all the necessary documents Dealing with the suppliers and determine the low cost of products Preparation of bank reconciliation Recording of petty cash transactions Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, cheque and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices Organize customer contracts and evaluate all agreements and invoices Coordinate with Management and Operations team to prepare budget sheets Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements and assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger reconciliations Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and federal and state regulations Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports and meet deadlines Prepare VAT tax returns and corporate reporting requirements Develop monthly financial statements that include cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets Preparation of payroll and calculation of overtime as per company policy and procedures Assist in administrative functions and visit to bank and government institutions for documents submission and collection Complete end of month close procedures Coordinate with management and recommend improvement in quality of accounting and provide operational support Education and Experience: Proven experience as a Junior Accountant Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or relevant field Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) certificate Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software packages Experience in industry procedures, costs, and terms Ability to work under minimal supervision Ability to work under pressure Valid UAE driving license and own car APPLY FROM LINK BELOW https://ae.linkedin.com/jobs/view/junior-accountant-at-confidential-3639505514?r
