A Junior Accountant will support the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions related to vendor payments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and verify invoices and check requests.
Sort, code, and match invoices.
Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system.
Set invoices up for payment.
Prepare and perform check runs, and process electronic payments.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
Maintain vendor files and ensure all vendor information is up-to-date.
Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and professionally.
Reconcile vendor statements and correct any discrepancies.
Maintain vendor files and ensure all vendor information is up-to-date.

Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and procedures.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Support the finance team with other accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and financial reporting standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working on ERP Systems preferably Microsoft Business Central.
