Junior Accountant Required in Dubai Role Summary: Responsible for a variety of bookkeeping tasks to ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. Job description: Post trade supplier invoices. Post freight & duty, credit notes, utilities, fuel, courier, and other admin expenses. Invoicing, posting of intercompany GRN’s & Costing. Invoicing RMA’s. Prepare spread sheets for cost allocation of the company’s inventory. Invoice miscellaneous charges (packing, surcharge, delivery charge) and allocate the same to the inventory. Assist in improvement of internal control related to inventory. Provide explanatory facts and supporting documents on the audit queries related to purchase ledger at the company’s external and internal audits. Reconcile and monitor customer receipts. Perform monthly accounts reconciliations. Petty cash management. Work in special projects as required. Core Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in accounting with sound understanding of accounting principles. Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar. At least 2 years’ related work experience, preferably from a reputable manufacturing/retail organization in the UAE. Strong knowledge of inventory related work. Strong MS Excel skills. High attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors. Works productively to required timeframes and deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. P.S : It is a junior role with max 02 to 05 years experience which is needed. Candidates with high a number of years experience are requested not to apply.
