Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing.

Responsibilities

Oversee financial activities for the Mother Company in Italy and GCC.
Manage and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Italian and GCC countries regulations.
Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for all entities.
Coordinate with local accounting and taxation consultants / advisors , authorities and external auditors in Italy and GCC countries.
Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient financial processes.
Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations in Italyn and GCC countries in coordination with local consultants / advisors.
Implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
Train and mentor junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
Extensive experience as a Senior Accountant in Italy and GCC countries.
Strong knowledge of Italian and GCC countries accounting principles and regulations.
Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Familiarity with tax laws and reporting requirements in Italy and GCC countries.

Job location: Dubai.
