Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain important financial reports.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Conduct routine audits of financial statements and records.
Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 4 years experience as a General Accountant.
Strong understanding of UAE VAT & Corporate Tax Law
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in various accounting softwares (i.e. Zoho books, Quickbooks, Xero) and MS Office.
CPA or CMA is preferred.
