Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at Dream Inn Holiday Homes Rental LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
· Verify daily transactions and post the journal entries into the financial database.
· Performing general cashier tasks and handling petty cash.
· Posting of payable invoices & AP aging.
· Accruals & prepaid schedule.
· Budget & Forecast.
· Cash flow and payments management.
· Managing daily cash deposits and banking activities.
· Inventory of fixed assets and computations of depreciations.
· Fixed asset tagging record maintaining.
· Store inventory management and ordering.
· Monthly and yearly end closing of P&L & Balance Sheet.
· Preparation of financial reports on a monthly and weekly basis.
· Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to the owners.
· Budget and actual variances.
· Variance & ratio analysis.
· VAT preparation and submission.
· Utility analysis unit wise.
· Payroll submission.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Proficiency in using accounting software
Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
Immediate joiners available in the UAE preferred
