Sr. Finance Executive Required in Dubai Roles & Responsibilities Month-end closing Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial activities. Perform account reconciliations of Subledger/ Manual Schedules with GL (e.g., Bank Reconciliation, Inter Company), and review journal entries to guarantee accuracy and compliance. Upload Budget and Actuals to complete the monthly reporting. Financial reporting and analysis Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements. Assist Senior Manager in various requirements of Business Analytical Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Strategy and Management presentations. Finance Operations Custodian of Oracle Ledger, ensuring adherence to IFRS standards, policies, and regulations. Liaising with Group department for any finance inquiry. Raising and approval of Purchase Requisitions, Intercompany invoicing, and receivables. Review of Accounts Payables batches. Fixed Assets management, ensuring accurate and complete reporting. Assist payroll department in finalizing employee deductions monthly. Consolidate group insurance sum insured value for yearly renewal of policies. Taxation Monthly reconciliation and submission of VAT return and respond to any other VAT related queries, related to VDs and VAT audit. related to VDs and VAT audits. Assist in the preparation of Corporate Income Tax return and support tax planning initiatives. Auditing and compliance Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support. Process Improvement Continuously review and implementation of process improvements in accounting procedures, to increase efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of financial operations. Stay updated on trends and advancements in accounting software and systems. Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to streamline accounting processes and improve data accuracy. Team Collaboration Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other finance departments, operations, and management, to ensure alignment and achievement of organizational goals. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Commerce. Minimum 7-8 years of proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, preferably in a corporate setting. Thorough understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, including IFRS, Strong understanding of selected financial core processes: PtP, OtC and RtR Proficient in financial reporting and analysis, with excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software, preferably with hands-on experience with Oracle and FCCS.
