Urgent Accountant Required in Dubai Assisting the Head of Accounts with oversight of the work of the finance staff in general Assisting in the preparations for audits and in the completion of the financial statements for all entities in the PRM group Bank and general ledger reconciliations, Intercompany reconciliations and cross charging as required Checking that costs are allocated correctly Ensuring at all times compliance with tax and other relevant regulations Completing and assisting in the preparation of all other management accounts, ad hoc financial reports, and requirements both external and internal. Timely and accurate completion of quarterly VAT returns and regulatory statistical returns Administration of Pensions to include all necessary reporting and audits Assisting in the administration of the monthly payroll to include tax year end, P11d, statutory reports Handling of all insurance claims and preparation for annual insurance renewals Efficient use of IT resources and selection and development of the use of appropriate accounting software and processes Any other ad hoc duties as may be reasonably required Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in accounting Recognised qualification in accounting Excellent time-management an problem-solving skills Customer service experience Competent in Microsoft Office programmes – especially Excel & Word Excellent written and verbal communication in English Must be familiar with Xero accounting software Ideally experience of working in a global company, processing international transactions, exchange rates etc. Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA desirable Previous experience of working in a production company would be an advantage Benefits Hybrid working; from our office in Dubai and working from home Ideally candidate would be able to travel abroad to other sites if needed Must be flexible in working hours due to demands of working across multiple time-zones Plenty of opportunities to evolve your career within a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural environment APPLY FROM LINK BELOW https://ae.linkedin.com/jobs/view/accountant-at-prm-global-3608291375?
