Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dermatology Nurse. The candidate must be MOH Registered and Licensed. They must possess at least (2) years of UAE work experience. A dermatology nurse works with a focus on the treatment and care of skin and various conditions, diseases, wounds and infections of the dermis and epidermis. They can assist with patient preparation and recovery.

Responsibilities

Assist the physician in the performance of skin exams, monitor and record a patient's medical history, and be aware of relevant test results.
Performing or assisting with cosmetic procedures.
Helping treat various skin wounds such as burns, ulcers and skin tears.
Educating patients on proper skincare.
Observe how a patient reacts to a treatment.
Conduct exams to identify potential skin problems.
Listen to patients' concerns so they can communicate them to a doctor accurately.
Provide pre- and post-operative care for clients who are undergoing treatment for a variety of skin conditions and diseases.
Assist with procedures using specialized medical equipment, including cosmetic dermatology.
Perform wound care and be familiar with many types of dressings, topical medications, and would care routines.
Educate each patient on how to protect their skin and care for skin diseases and conditions at home.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
MOH License (or Eligibility) as a Registered Nurse (mandatory)
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
