We are hiring Operating Room Nurses with experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery & General Surgery. Registered Nurse are required to deliver care to patients setting utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with established protocols.
Registered Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effectively patient Provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in consultation with other members of the health care team
Provides preoperative and postoperative education
Liaises with the operating team and family members
Monitors and takes vital signs of patients
Verifies that the correct procedure is being performed and that the correct patient is operating
Manages the preparation, administration, and recording (oral, subcutaneous, IV) of prescribed medications
Adequately reports any adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by licensed registered nurses
Preparation of the operating room for the patient/procedure, including recording information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, on the appropriate forms, and in the appropriate format
Implements corrective actions when monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptoms
When required, performs additional position-related duties, depending on the assignment setting.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills desired:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
3-5 years recent of experience as OT Registered Nurse as Scrub/ Circulating Nurses for Orthopedics, Neurosurgery & General Surgery
Minimum 2 years of UAE experience is desirable
DHA License/Eligibility as a Registered Nurse
Active BLS, ACLS & PALS certified essential
Compassionate, energetic, dynamic with exceptional communication skills are essential
