RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following:
Administers benefit plans including enrollments, life change events, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and through the HRIS to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
Ensure COBRA qualifying events are processed through COBRA system within compliance standards.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee questions and requests.
Conduct new hire and benefit orientations for region, as needed, including coordinating the necessary resources for new hires, processing I9 in HRIS onboarding and providing new hire/benefit packet.
Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains that they are current.
Processes new hires, transfers, promotions, and payroll changes through payroll.
Administers PTO, leaves of absences and workers’ compensation claims and process required documents through payroll and benefits manager to ensure accurate record keeping and proper documentation.
Conduct 30/90 Day New Hire Surveys, review, follow up and provide feedback to HRBP and managers, as needed.
Conduct exit interviews, obtain company property and process termination paperwork for employee separations, including updating databases and reports.
Generate bi-weekly and monthly reports from HRIS Business Intelligence report system and provide to HRBP and regional managers. Provide additional reports as requested.
Ingest papers and documents into the HRIS and ensure employee data in HRIS is accurate and current for assigned region. Maintain accurate employee records, including medical, disciplinary and staffing correspondence.
Support HRBP with regional employee relation issues and terminations. Ensure regional managers/employees understand BDP processes -- performance management, disciplinary, PIP, and termination.
Assist with Unemployment and EEOC Claims, as needed.
Maintain Symphony Employee Directory. Add new employees, delete terminated employees and update employee information.
Actively support and participate in HR projects assigned. Assist with projects requested by Management or HRBP.
Assist with the annual and semi-annual performance review process.
Support and assist with Wellness Committee initiatives.
Backup other Human Resources Staff as needed.
Performs other job-related duties and functions as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education :
High School Diploma and Human Resources Continuing Education. Some college preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Mail are required.
