The purpose of the People and Culture Manager is to manage the full Human Resources function. Responsibilities
Aware of the HR industry in the region, UAE labor laws and pension, Governmental laws of Sharjah and other emirates, HR strategies, compensation and benefits, budgeting and forecasting, manpower planning, and market studies and analysis.
Developing and fortifying the Learning & Development framework and its processes to ensure the availability of opportunities for upskilling, cross-skilling, and developing talent.
Creating and leading workshops related to team-wide learning sessions, and providing a feedback report on workshops.
Be accountable to measure ROI and the effectiveness of L & D initiatives through evaluating feedback and gaining insights to applying new learnings to further enhance programs
Managing the bi-annual performance cycles, and coordinating with Department Directors for promotions or improvements in employee performance.
Researching, evaluating, and implementing different policy changes and benefits that would lead to an increase in employee happiness and emotional/physical well-being at work.
Manage relationships between Sheraa HR, Shurooq, and Sharjah Government HR to ensure all processes are in line with Sharjah Government policies
Manage employee onboarding and off-boarding processes (Including pensions), and ensure continual improvements of the process for optimum efficiency.
Implementing best practices when it comes to the record-keeping and organization of staff files, and recommending improvements for processes to ensure efficiency.
Creating a full engagement calendar for team events on a yearly basis with input from the People and Culture Director themes and outcomes of engagement.
Managing the full recruitment processes, its continuous development, and its improvement to ensure the right talent is selected.
Putting in place a structure for manpower planning and new hire requests, and coordinating with Department Directors on processes and requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management is a must /MBA or MA in an HR-related specialization or field.
Minimum of 8-10 years relevant experience as an HR manager in HR, Business Support, and team management.
