Position Purpose
The Business Development Manager will use their extensive experience to network and build strong contacts within the relevant industries. Ideal Candidate will research and build a needs analysis with each customer to ensure their needs and requirements and be able to pitch and win new business resulting in profitable sales.
The BDM will be the lead in prospecting, following up on potential leads all the way to tendering for high profile business. They will seek and lead new business opportunities both in UAE and KSA. They will support the business in delivering its key 3-year strategic plan, through developing and ongoing sales pipeline, and executing a strong sales performance.
In addition, the BDM will provide accurate forecasts back to the business, market intelligence and trends within the industry, work closely with the management and other key functions in the business and provide accurate reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the luxury lifestyle management, concierge, and travel sectors to increase revenue and acquire new clients.
Developing and maintaining relationships with key players in the industry, such as luxury hotels, airlines, and tour operators, to offer exclusive deals and packages to clients.
Developing and executing sales strategies to attract and convert new customers, including cold calling, email marketing, and other outreach activities.
Researching and analysing market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and make informed business decisions.
Maintaining accurate records of business development activities, including pipeline management, sales metrics, and client interactions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of client services, including travel planning, event management, and lifestyle services.
Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the target market and customer needs to position and sell the company's products or services effectively.
Working with senior management to develop and implement long-term strategic plans for business growth.
Utilize existing network to generate sales and drive business growth.
Work autonomously as a self-starter and proactively driving new lasting relationships.
Should have a strong passion for research, networking, and identifying new sales opportunities.
Work towards winning business at C-Suite level & partner with consultants and agencies.
Work closely with the team to create and conceptualise products related to luxury lifestyle and travel.
Utilize previous experiences or build connections of Luxury Concierge & Travel/Wealth Management Companies/Priority Banking/Corporate Banking industries.
Target, Corporate, B2B sales, HNWUI Individuals and Family Offices.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in business development in the luxury lifestyle management, concierge, and travel industries.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Knowledge of luxury travel destinations, products, and services.
Experience using CRM systems and other sales tools.
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
Fluent in English; additional languages preferred.
Passion for luxury travel and lifestyle.
Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Having strong communication, presentation, and financial skills, as well as excellent planning ability and experience building strong sales pipelines.
Having strong project management skills and the ability to deliver key milestones to customers.
Being ambitious to work towards excellent sales incentives
