Job Description:
As a School Bus Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a school bus while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bus and ensuring that students board and disembark safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a school bus on assigned routes, ensuring the safety and comfort of students.
Pick up and drop off students at designated locations on time.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
Ensure the bus is clean and well-maintained.
Maintain discipline and order among students during the bus ride.
Communicate with school staff and parents as necessary.
Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
Valid commercial driver’s license
Clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.( Not Mandatory)
Good physical health and the ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong commitment to the safety and well-being of students.
Previous school bus driving experience is a plus.
