Head Sommelier Required in Dubai Our client is currently hiring an experienced Head Sommelier for a high-end restaurant in Dubai. What will you do? Have complete knowledge of all menu items offered Ensure product quality and consistency are delivered at all times Has impeccable knowledge of all products in the portfolio Recommend food and wine pairings Advising guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices Has a good knowledge of all beverages beyond those stocked in the restaurant Follow HACCP requirements What are we looking for? Certified sommelier or successfully completed equivalent of WSET Level 3 would be preferable Solid knowledge of French and New World wines (South American and North American wines, in particular, would be an advantage) Curious attitude, always learning and exploring new ideas Minimum 2 years of experience in high-end, high-volume, award-winning restaurant/bar operations in Europe, the Middle East, or Asia Fluency in either Russian, Arabic or Balkan languages would be an advantage.
