Job Purpose:
The Sales Manager works closely with the Regional Corporate Manager, Production, Design Team, and Logistics. His or her main focus is to expand loyal corporate client base and to supply network, revenue, and margin in line with, or exceeding the annual business plan, by creating memorable client servicing experiences and loyal customers. Should have excellent planning and organization skills, an ability to anticipate customer needs relevant to specific events, leadership qualities and be able to make decisions. An avid communicator able to handle multiple stakeholders and have well developed training skills.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop, build, and manage a client base of corporate accounts, target new and existing accounts for new business.
Prospect new clients via sales calls, direct mail, email, and networking events.
Follow the department sales plan set by the head corporate.
Work closely with the corporate team to enhance the sales operations.
Follow up with the head corporate on market research to meet changing market & competitive conditions.
Provide daily / weekly reports to the head corporate / management on new accounts, collection status, targets, budgets, and sales forecasts… Represent Bateel in corporate events.
Follow up on the sales process at each stage from quote to purchasing to fulfillment and follow up.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and community events to help promote the corporate program.
Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
Maintain all phone and e-mail contacts, ensuring return of all calls and e-mails.
Work with the Sales Coordinator to process all contracts in a timely manner, maintain client files to sales standards.
Follow up and resolve any Corporate Sales client complaints with operational departments.
Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customers.
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
Maintaining and increasing sales of Bateel company's products by keeping up with the supply and demand, changing trends, economic and seasonal indicators and competitors.
Looking into profit margins and taking prompt action in solving related challenges.
Strive to achieve and exceed the sales budget and monitor P&L.
Establishing, maintaining and expand customer base.
Lead market research activities to identify market trends, competitor analysis and customer insights. Have the ability to infuse market intelligence into overall Sales plan and respond proactively to changing market forces and dynamics at play.
Expert skillsets in maintaining sales and market data points (example – monthly sales report, budget analysis, variance analysis etc.)
Contribute to sales strategy by providing intelligent, actionable insights on market trends, customer habits, socio-political climate, competitor landscape)
Identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales.
Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through planning and management of key accounts.
Set guidelines and maintain high standards of service experiences at all times for all clients such as attending requirements of the clients in timely manner and ensure that line managers are groomed to respond effectively. Always respecting the Brand DNA and assuring over all execution.
Persistently assuring high levels of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Thus, ensuring compliance with local law, food safety standards, general workplace safety, and HACCP policies and procedures.
Uses analytical skills and pro-actively manages margins, by controlling COGS, staff, and controllable expenses.
Monitor’s customer satisfaction and develops and maintains client relations.
Uses critical thinking skills to initiate innovation, conducting research on global food trends, food marketing, and conscious eating habits.
Being involved in improving communication using technology.

Experience Requirements:
5-8 years’ of B2B HORECA sales experience in the Middle East
Proficiency in both verbal and written English
