EH IT Team is looking for a motivated L1 HelpDesk Engineer to join with them, The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing desktop support for Windows, troubleshooting Office desktop apps, and resolving any issues with meeting rooms. In addition, the candidate will need to have a good customer support attitude and basic knowledge of Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support for desktop and laptop systems running Windows.
Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues with Office desktop applications.
Set up and maintain meeting rooms, including audio and video equipment.
Respond to and resolve customer support requests in a timely and professional manner.
Provide basic support for WiFi-related issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of all support requests and their resolution.
Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve more complex issues.
Requirements:
3-4 years of experience in desktop support, customer service, or related field
Basic knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware and software
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Office desktop applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic knowledge of audio and video equipment used in meeting rooms.
Good customer service attitude with excellent communication skills
Basic knowledge of Wi-Fi troubleshooting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), are a plus.
