Al Ramz Corporation PJSC is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of ITIL service management, helpdesk operations, as well as Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT service delivery, possess excellent leadership and organizational skills, and have a deep understanding of ITIL processes, network operations, and security practices. This is a full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the ITIL service management framework, ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices across the organization.
Develop and maintain IT service catalogs, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational level agreements (OLAs) to effectively deliver IT services.
Lead a team of helpdesk professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality customer service and timely incident resolution.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring optimal network performance and robust security measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and improve IT processes, including incident management, problem management, change management, and release management.
Monitor and analyze service desk, NOC, and SOC performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service delivery.
Develop and maintain IT service continuity plans, disaster recovery procedures, and incident response plans to minimize business impact during incidents and emergencies.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage service contracts, ensuring compliance and quality of service.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in ITIL practices, network operations, and security practices, recommending and implementing relevant improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Provide leadership and support during IT audits and assessments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, with a focus on IT service management, helpdesk operations, NOC, and SOC operations.
Proven track record in managing ITIL processes and driving IT service improvement initiatives.
Experience in managing Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, including incident detection, response, and mitigation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong leadership abilities and the capability to motivate and inspire a team.
Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making, with a keen attention to detail.
Experience in financial services or investment banking is a plus.
ITIL, Prince2, or PMP certifications are highly desirable.
Familiarity with network and information security concepts, tools, and technologies.
Experience with security incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence is beneficial.
Competencies/ Skills:
Excellent working knowledge of networking operations.
Good Knowledge of Infrastructure operations
General understanding of software programming and systems design
Good understanding of ITIL processes
High level of ownership and accountability
Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Highly collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships with multiple teams.
Strong, clear communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
