We are recruiting an entry level IT Support Analyst, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) who is also based at our Headquarters in Dubai. The primary function of this role is to provide Desktop/Laptop etc. support to Sales Consultants (sales force) and Administration staff.
The Role:
Main Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the below:
Day-to-day user support.
Hardware installation configuration diagnosis and rectification.
Operating system installation, configuration diagnosis and rectification.
Desktop and application software installation, configuration, diagnosis, and rectification.
Understanding of Wireless Technologies.
Maintain IT asset inventory and antivirus/antimalware installations etc.
Support, maintenance, troubleshoot desktop & network infrastructure.
IT Support to Sales Force & Staff members (Dubai & branch offices).
Support, install & troubleshoot computers (desktops/laptops/printers etc.) from an application software perspective.
Setup and configure hardware/software for stand-alone & network-based computers.
Coordinates and ensures the timely resolution of users’ problems.
Provides systems support and performs general housekeeping duties – Logging job/error reports, updating hardware inventories (documentation) etc.
Ensure all ‘IT Help Desk’ emails, calls etc. are actioned, logged, tracked and escalated.
Maintain code of ethics with regards to Performance, Attitude, Behavior and Loyalty.
A Team Player able to work under a lot of pressure and out of office hours when required.
Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
Skills:
• MINIMUM 4 years’ experience in an IT Desktop Support environment.
• Microsoft MCP, MCSA or similar.
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other Microsoft products like Outlook etc.
• Knowledge of Windows TCP/IP networking environment.
• Team player, good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong technical skills and understanding.
• Flexibility to provide cover during the extended working day and weekends and out of hours as required.
• A strong customer centric focus with a desire to deliver an excellent level of service.
