Part of the Infrastructure and Support Team, the IT Support Specialist is an important role in ensuring that the organization has the appropriate hardware, software, and licenses to operate efficiently. This individual will also be involved in more complex projects as needed, providing technical expertise and guidance.
The role will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to maintain and enhance the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and support for Papel's business objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
Provide technical support on the day to day operations for all Papel’s employees.
Oversee the procurement, deployment, and maintenance of hardware, software, and licenses, ensuring that Papel's IT infrastructure aligns with business requirements and industry best practices.
Develop and implement IT support processes and procedures to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
Analyze help desk tickets and/or IT Service Survey data and establish internal service
Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to assess IT needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that support Papel's business objectives.
Lead the roll-out, provisioning, and inventory of internal devices (e.g., laptops, workstations, and other peripherals) and ensure compliance with the company policy.
Managing and ensuring that the existing and future external vendors in meeting service level standards.
Encourages knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and best-practice sharing among team members.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role in diversified environment (Windows, MacOS).
Strong technical knowledge of solving end-user problems in various hardware and software systems.
Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and tools.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and Exchange Server.
Firewall Management, experience in Fortinet is a plus.
Knowledge of Cloud Systems (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Problem solving skills and desire to work hard.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
